Olive at 18 Months

This post is almost 2 months late but I wanted to have it recorded for our family journal :)

Olive is such a sweet little stinker, haha! At about 16 months I told Chad how perfect she was and how I wish I could freeze her and keep her that way forever. Well, she hit 18 months and started showing us what an independent child is like! She is so so fun. She loves her big sister, she loves to run around and play. She is so sweet and gives us hugs and kisses and now (finally!) enjoys snuggling and will even fall asleep on me. She is also very, VERY loud! That girl can scream and throw fits. She is also good and throwing her food everywhere...our walls by her high chair take a beating from it. She is good at telling us NO and voicing her opinions. If shes not getting her way she lets the whole world know.....   Chad and I are still trying to figure out just what to do with her..... :)

At 18 months:

Weight: 20 lbs 3.5 oz 15th percentile ..finally out of the 5th percentile! all that eating is finally catching up ;)
Height: 31 inches, 18th percentile
Head circumference: 48cm, 88th percentile...yup, hehe!

Words: Mom, Dah (Dad), "eesse" for cheese/please, more, no, yeah, hat, banana, down, plus a variety of animal sounds (dog, cat, cow, bird, monkey..), and other sounds (shh, "t", etc)
Signs: more, milk, drink, water, cracker, grapes, bed, binki (her own sign), dog, bug, all done, food/eat, car, hat, shoes, star. Im sure there are more as well.....

She started walking at 14 months but wasnt doing it independently until 16/17 months. She has a very "sassy" walk as one lady from our ward described it. And yes, that fits her walk and her personality quite well........... :)

She has pretty much a full mouth of teeth...her 4 pointy (canine?) teeth have emerged (after weeks of pains for all of us....).

Olive is a character and adds so much to our family. We love her so much.
