Finishing our Island

Our kitchen island is done! And Chad and I couldn't be happier with the result! LOVE IT!! I still need to do a few little things on it but our kitchen is functioning again :)

I love it so much! To Break it down; we painted it white, added the baseboard/trim around, legs, and of course the wainscoting :) And it was so cheap! We had white paint and polyurethane already (we buy it discounted so lets say we used maybe $5), bought the legs at Restore for $2, Base trim $14 and wainscoting $20. I have never been happier with one of our projects :)  It definetly brightened up our kitchen and helped to balance out our modern dark cabinets :) LOVE LOVE LOVE!
