April!

April  was a busy and fun month for us. And it flew by pretty fast! I can not believe that it is May, we have been having fun working on our garden and trying to get some curb appeal going :)

The beginning of April we had my family come and visit. It was so fun seeing everyone and having Krista and Mason finally over :)

Julie and her family also came to see us, it was so nice to have house full of family :)

Later on in April we went to Reno to visit Chad's brother Scott. We had a super fun weekend with them and then brought their three oldest kids back with us for a few days!

Back in Utah:
Earlier this spring the ponds next to our house had HUNDREDS of  Pelicans.. unfortunately we missed that great picture opportunity. But we took the kids on a bike ride and had fun watching the ones that were still here :)

 I love where we live, sometimes it still shocks me how blessed we are 

to live in such a beautiful area.

 The boys found a snake and of course pretended to eat it....naturally.

We are doing great! Staying busy with work and projects like always :) Lucy is getting so active and always wants to be outside. She recently learned how to slide open our back door and loves to crawl down the steps and play with Bella on the tramp....its cute to see her in action but I sure need to keep my eye on her these days! :) She is such a sweet little girly girl too. She is always watching and imitating me, loving to put on jewelry and pretending to put on lipstick and makeup. :)

 We stopped cutting Lucy's hair in the fall and it is getting soooo long! I've been having

fun braiding it and trying out different styles :)

And I chopped my hair off again! :) Its fun having it short again!
